About us

Graham - Dir. of Operations

Graham came to Reliable Mobility in 2012. After immigrating from Northern Ireland to Canada in 1998 he has had the fortune to travel throughout Canada and North America with his roles in the hospitality industry. Although he has lived in many great places including The Bahamas, Lake Louis and Vancouver he always called Winnipeg Home and was glad to finally settle in The Peg in 2011.

With a passion for health and fitness Reliable Mobility seemed like a good fit. When hes not working he's probably either at the Zoo with his wife, Anita and their 2 girls, the Crossfit Gym or training for the upcoming rugby season. He also completed his first marathon in Chicago 2016 to raise money for Palliative Care in Manitoba on behalf of his fantastic cousin.

He looks forward to bringing new and exciting products and services that make the day to day activities that most of us take for granted easier for everyone.

Bruce - Custom Seating Technician

Bruce’s education includes a bachelor’s degree with a major in Psychology and a minor in History and technical training courses including camera repair, radio and TV electronics & industrial electronics. One of the jobs in his earlier career was as a home care attendant.  Some of his clients had fancy power chairs with molded seating. After some research Bruce found out that the supplier of the wheelchairs was Winnipeg Prosthetic and Orthotic Specialty Company.  He applied for a position and was hired as an apprentice.. A few years later Bruce became part owner of the wheelchair division called Winnipeg Custom Seating (WCS).  Bruce became sole owner of WCS in 2013.

In 2015 WCS ceased to operate independently but the years of expertise and training were put to great use in Reliable Mobility's newest division. This move has allowed the custom seating team to focus more efficiently on the specialized equipment that set them apart form the rest of the industry

Fiona - Custom Seating Admin

Originally from Vancouver, Fiona came to Manitoba in 2008. Having worked in the hospitality and music industry, for the vast majority of her working life, she unexpectedly fell into the world of mobility products and more specifically custom seating for wheelchairs.  Since 2009 she has been  doing a wide range of custom work, including, reception, administration, accounting, management, and even the occasional bit of welding. She loves the fact that every day there is a new and exciting challenge awaiting her and getting to figure out how to make someones life ultimately better (and more comfortable) is what keeps her excited to come to work every day.
